Up until a few weeks ago, I would normally be backing up to my Data Domain DD610. All of the suddent I would get the following message below. Problem is, that I can clear the alert, but it comes right back up again. Its acting like this is a tape drive but this is a OST Media drive on the Data Domain box. I cannot dedupe to tapes for month end archive because this message comes up as well. Is there any way to clear this out? I even went as far as looking through my media sets that are contained on our remote backup exec 2010 servers to see if I could find the OST media it is referencing, and cannot find it. I still don't know how I can see the media files in 2012 like I can in 2010.
Please insert media 'OST00000115-4403A18777EE9B14' into the robotic library by creating an Import media job.
If the media does not have a bar code, click Options on the Import Job Properties, and select 'Auto-inventory after import is completed'.
Hoping someone has run this in the past. I have ran a Inventory on the DD box, but when I tried to do a catalog afterwards, it refrenced this error as well so it was then useless and I couldn't do anything more with the job itself.
