Currently two standard Master server features are not supported if the Master server is an appliance Master. The features are NBAC and KMS, please refer to the document below that states these are not supported features.

KMS can be implemented from the command line on the appliance Master and it works fine.
NBAC can also be implemented from the command line on the appliance master. I have not tested it yet but I do not see any reason why it wouldn't work.
Please add support for these two features on appliance master servers
