Recorded Media ID blank - External Media ID OK

Hi all,

I somtimes notice that via the device manager, a tape is mounted and the recorded media ID is blank. The External media ID is OK and the tape reads / writes just fine.

Could this cause issues down the road?  The tapes are fresh out of the box.  Also, running command: vmoprcmd shows these same volumes with label status of NO.
