Backup Exec 2012 Media sets not writing

I'm running BE 2012 on a 2008 R2 server and use external HDD's for backup media.

I only use one HDD at a time and change them daily. I was out of the office for one day and my fellow admin forgot to change the backup media while I was gone, so that night's job got stuck in a loop due to full media.

Now two of my devices have a pencil with a line through it and fail to start jobs.

Is there anything I can do besides doing a full reinstall of BE?
