Hi all,
I''ve run bpverify -primary -hoursago 10
I get a list showing me numerous backup id's that do not contain data.
INF - Skipping backup id client_1407870064, it does not contain data.
I than run a bpimagelist -U against that backup id and I get this:
Backed Up Expires Files KB C Sched Type On Hold Index
Status Policy
---------------- ---------- -------- -------- - --------------- ------- -----
------- ------------
08/12/2014 13:00 11/13/2014 0 0 N Full Backup 0 0
SAP_AR_DLY
Now, that policy is respnsible for backing up SAP / Oracle archive logs. Is it possible that Netbackup doesn't treat these as files and that's why I see a file count of 0?
I'm a little worried to see this. I do notice that all the "skipping backup id's" are so far related to this SAP policy. This policy runs every 4 hours and backups up direct to disk. Data is backed up as I can see the log files in brbackup.
of course, when it finished with the above "skipping backup id's" it went on to verify data from other policies and has started to read tapes.
