We see two different appliance issues regularly enough that they really need to have their own email subject lines - "Hardware Error/Warning(s) Notice" is just too generic.
1) BBU RAID battery failure. We have enough appliances deployed that we see this issue come up about once a month on average.
2) RAID rebuild notices. While it could be because of a problem the RAID also does this automatically on a regular basis. So why doesn't it already have its own subject line ?
When different issues all come in looking the same it gets really hard to not only keep track of the history behind issues but to even get people to pay attention to the emails in the first place.
The appliance email subject lines need to be tailored to the specific type of error/warning being seen.
